Viewing Details of a Dataset

The procedure for viewing the details of a dataset is as follows:

  • In Discovery page, click a dataset to view its details. The details page of the selected dataset display where you can find further information about the selected dataset.

    • Title of the dataset. For example, “Homicide and Assault Deaths by Gender and Age in European Countries”.

    • Provider's name for the dataset. You may discover more information about the provider by clicking on its name.

    • The last time the dataset was updated. For instance, 9 days ago.

    • Themes or categories linked with the dataset.

    • Region

    • Description of the dataset.

    • Insights generated by Wobby’s AI agent (Spark). For example, in the image below, you can see that there are two insights available for the selected data set.

    • The Data summary section that shows a comprehensive overview of all available columns in the dataset. For each column, it shows statistical information and categories to help you better understand the dataset's characteristics.

      The "Stats" section reveals the number of distinct values associated with each column. For instance, the "Geo" column contains 35 different, unique values, representing the variety of geographical data present in the dataset.

      Under the "Categories" section, it presents the value categories available for each column. These categories allow you to easily categorize and make sense of the data within a given column. For instance, the "Geo" column might include categories such as Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Bulgaria, and more, offering a quick reference to the specific regions or entities represented in the dataset.

    • The preview section to view the data set in the tabular format. In the table, you can view all columns and their associated values. This feature allows you to easily analyze and compare different data points within the dataset.
